Carnivals

Racing in Queensland features two major carnivals each year.

The Winter Racing Carnival comprises the main group and listed races of the season and runs from March through to July each year. Historic races such as The Toowomba Weetwood and Toowoomba Cup, Primeministers Cup, BTC Cup, Doomben Cup and Doomben 10,000, Queensland Oaks, QTC Cup and Stradbroke Handicap, Ipswich Cup, Tattersall's Tiara, and the Caloundra Cup feature in this premier carnival.

The Summer Racing Carnival runs from November through to January and features the famous $2 Million Magic Millions Classic in January on the Gold Coast.
