RQL is currently in consultation with the Australian Trainers Association – QLD branch to reassess the basis, calculation, level and requirement of the Base Maintenance Fee that was initial in the letter sent to all licensed QLD trainers on the 24th July 2012.
The Activity Fee will be implemented for starters from 1 August 2012 as originally proposed as this will contribute to the rebate regardless of the changes to the method and/or calculation.
We encourage trainers to provide a copy of their premium notice to Racing Queensland Limited as this will provide the basis of any applicable rebate.
RQL would like to thank everyone who has provided feedback to the Work Cover scheme as this information is being taken into consideration in the reassessment of the initial release of the scheme.
